Lucky Motor Corporation Limited (LMCL) was known for its ability to keep vehicle prices stable over the last two years. Unfortunately, the depreciation of the local currency and an increase in shipping costs have forced the automaker to join other companies in raising car prices.
According to a recent announcement, the company has raised the prices of all Kia vehicles sold in Pakistan, including the Sportage, Stonic, and Picanto.
The following new prices are in effect immediately:
Old Price (Rs.)
Revised Price (Rs.)
Sorento 2.4 FWD
Sorento 2.4 AWD
Sorento V6 FWD
Surprisingly, the price increases for the Kia Stonic are minor in comparison to the rest of the lineup.
For the fourth time this year, LMCL has raised the prices of Kia’s best-selling vehicles. It may have also triggered a new wave of price increases in the automotive industry, with more companies making such dire announcements, citing the depreciation of the Pakistani rupee.
