Hyundai Nishat Motors Private Limited (HNMPL) has also jumped on the price hike bandwagon, revising the Hyundai Tucson’s prices. This is the company’s second price increase in less than two months.
Prices for both Hyundai Tucson variants are effective immediately:
Old Price (Rs.)
Revised Price (Rs.)
Tucson GLS Sport FWD
Tucson Ultimate AWD
HNMPL, like its competitors, cited rising raw material costs, freight charges, depreciating local currency, and other logistical challenges as reasons for the increase.
Unlike other automakers, however, HNMPL has only kept the new prices in effect for bookings made after the price increase announcement. Those who booked before March 25, 2022, will be charged the old rate.
Hyundai, on the other hand, has only raised the price of the Tucson. It’s worth noting that the SUV was HNMPL’s best-selling vehicle in February 2022, selling nearly 800 units in a month.
