On the first day of the Pakistan Auto Show (PAS) 2022, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) was the center of attention. The Wagon R Stingray Hybrid drew the most attention at Suzuki’s booth.
It is a supermini MPV with a 660cc naturally aspirated engine, a mild hybrid system, and an automatic CVT transmission. According to various car news outlets, it has 52 horsepower (hp) and 65 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque and a fuel economy of 18 to 26 liters per kilometre.
PSMC claimed to have displayed the Stingray to gauge public interest, based on which it will decide whether or not to launch the vehicle. The company also stated that it aspires to be a pillar in the evolution of mobility in Pakistan.
