In order to bring innovation to the education sector, Google has partnered with the City School, which has locations all over the country.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Google Tech Valley and the City School to upskill teachers and expose students to all forms of learning.
To improve the abilities of students and teachers in private schools, Google has worked with a number of government schools and is currently collaborating with the City School.
The agreement with the school will allow students to see technology from an early age, according to Omar Farooq, head of Google Tech Valley. He also added that a modern approach to education should be encouraged so that we can adapt to the future.
At the signing ceremony, Safia Qasim, regional director for City School, said that because of the agreement, technology is available in our school because we want to see modern technology skills in our classes.
She said that as more schools move toward Google-style education, learning how to navigate the digital world is becoming increasingly important. She continued by saying that we needed to teach our children how to stay safe while learning new things.
She also added that the MoU between the City School and Tech Valley aims to familiarize teachers and students with cross-cultural tools so that the standards set forth in other nations can also be applied here.
